Julie Glusker, M.A. – Owner/Educator
Julie has a passion for education, in all its myriad forms. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Julie earned a B.A. in English Literature with significant coursework in Education. She taught across grades 7-12 at Hackley School (NY), The Masters School (NY) and Oakley School (UT), additionally coaching varsity lacrosse, soccer and swimming. She also received her M.A. from the Bread Loaf School of English, Middlebury College, and has completed coursework towards a M.A. in Education from Westminster College.
Julie’s lifetime of experience in education extends well beyond the classroom and includes academic counseling, curriculum design, team building and coaching, organizational consulting, strategic planning, and board leadership. Julie specializes in English, literature, writing, language arts, Spanish, SAT/ACT test preparation, and college applications and essays.
DJ Glusker, M.B.A – Owner/Educator
While teaching physical and life sciences in both private and public high schools, including New Hampton School (NH), Medomak Valley High School (ME), and Oakley School (UT), DJ designed science curricula emphasizing relevant applications in biological and physical realms, led academic advisories and community service programs, and coached varsity soccer, wrestling and golf. He directed PLUS Sports Camp, a program incubated in Harvard’s Graduate School of Education and designed to enhance cognitive and strategic skills and athletic and academic responsibility. DJ also participated in various Applied Programs, Paradigms, and Learning Experiences programs, addressing moral and character development in education and working directly with notable leaders Dr. Thomas Lickona and Dr. Robert Coles.
DJ started his college tenure at West Virginia-Wesleyan as an Alpha Lambda Delta pre-med student and member of men’s varsity soccer; he graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a B.S in Biology. He will complete his M.B.A from Westminster College’s Gore School of Business in June of 2010. DJ specializes in math, science, including biology, chemistry, and physics, and SAT/ACT test preparation.
